Scholarships Due April 1st

 Good morning!! The following scholarships are due this Friday, April 1st: 

1. Forest City High School Alumni Award- Due April 1st 

2. MCEA/TOBI McGinnis Scholarship- Due April 1st

3. Larry DeSutter- Due April 1st

4. Gregory M. Williams- Due April 1st. 

5. Bob Quarello- Due by April 1st  

 

No late applications will be accepted! Happy Tuesday!!!

FAFSA WORKSHOP- March 23rd, 2022 4:30-6:00pm

We are so grateful to have another opportunity for students and parents to meet with our ISAC representative to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement, and the application that determines that amount of grant money (free money) and federal loans for postsecondary education. If you are not completing the FAFSA, you need to fill out the OPT out form. This workshop is an open forum between 4:30-6:00pm in the HS library. If you have completed the FAFSA and have questions about your student aid report, you can come as well!!

Lt. Jon G Ladda (Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement)- March 26th
Social Work Scholarship- March 31st




Also, COMPEER is due today!!!!! I can scan it in if you have it completed!!

FAFSA WORKSHOP- MARCH 23rd 4:30-6:00PM

Good evening!!! On March 23rd we will have our ISAC representative available in the HS library. She will be available to help seniors and their guardians who need to complete their FAFSA. In addition, if you have completed the FAFSA and have questions in regards to your student aid report, she can help you as well. We will be hosting the FAFSA workshop from 4:30-6:00pm. This is a great opportunity to ask questions in regards to the FAFSA process and your current application. This is our second workshop, and we are so grateful for our expertise in this area. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement, and regardless if you qualify or not, most schools require FAFSA for scholarships and financial aid packages. FAFSA applies to trade schools and career colleges as well!!! YAY!!!!!!!

We are conducting 8th grade orientation on the 23rd so please report directly to the HS library to avoid congestion in the foyer. Thanks!!!
