Hopedale Medical- March 25th
Lt. Jon G Ladda (Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement)- March 26th
Social Work Scholarship- March 31st

FAFSA WORKSHOP- MARCH 23rd 4:30-6:00PM

Good evening!!! On March 23rd we will have our ISAC representative available in the HS library. She will be available to help seniors and their guardians who need to complete their FAFSA. In addition, if you have completed the FAFSA and have questions in regards to your student aid report, she can help you as well. We will be hosting the FAFSA workshop from 4:30-6:00pm. This is a great opportunity to ask questions in regards to the FAFSA process and your current application. This is our second workshop, and we are so grateful for our expertise in this area. The FAFSA is a graduation requirement, and regardless if you qualify or not, most schools require FAFSA for scholarships and financial aid packages. FAFSA applies to trade schools and career colleges as well!!! YAY!!!!!!!

We are conducting 8th grade orientation on the 23rd so please report directly to the HS library to avoid congestion in the foyer. Thanks!!! 

BEEBE Scholarship!!!!!!

A scholarship trust was established by Mr. Charles A. Beebe who was past President and Director of Peoples State Bank, now Manito Community Bank.  The income derived from the scholarship trust is paid out annually to graduates of Forman and Midwest Central High School for the purpose of assisting them in higher education.  Since inception in 1976, and including 2021, $1,997,997 has been paid out in scholarship funds. 

Applications for the Charles A. Beebe Scholarship Fund is available on March 1st, 2022 at Midwest Central High School or at Manito Community Bank in Manito.  Applications must be filled out, signed and returned to Manito Community Bank, PO Box 646, Manito, IL 61546 or emailed to Suzanne.friesz@mortonbank.com no later than May 13, 2022.  You must be a graduate of Forman High School or Midwest Central High School and be furthering your education to qualify for this scholarship.

ICC OPEN HOUSE- April 5th, 4-7PM

Potential students and their families are invited to the ICC Open House on the East Peoria campus Tuesday, April 5 from 4 – 7 pm. Discover the 150+ programs of study, meet with ICC faculty and students, learn about scholarships and financial aid, explore student activities, and begin the next steps to enrollment.  Midwest Central High School Student Named As Honor Society Ambassador 

ATLANTA, GA– December 3, 2021- Alexa Kerley, a Midwest Central High School student from Manito, IL has been selected to the Ambassador Leadership Program by the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). A role model to peers, Alexa was selected out of hundreds of applicants for demonstrating strong academic achievement and a commitment to community service. 

Ambassadors are exemplary leaders within their high schools who exhibit a strong commitment to community service and serve as the ears, eyes, and voice of NSHSS within their high schools and communities across the globe. As role models to fellow scholars, Ambassadors hold our mission and values close to heart. Alexa represents all those beliefs and values with great integrity. She has the drive to succeed, and a desire to change our world for the better. 

We are proud of our Raider, Alexa Kerley. She is being recognized for combining leadership education and skill development to better the community she resides in.
